Family gatherings go better with a beverage in hand. Celebrate the season of indulgence by greeting the guests at your next holiday gathering with a beverage made with premium mixers and syrups. Pick your poison: whiskey, rum, or no poison (we got you covered!), and stir up one of these balanced cocktails to start pouring some merriment!

Liber & Co. Caramelized Fig Manhattan

Caramelized Fig Manhattan

The sweetened caramelized fig along with the spice from the rye whiskey infuse holiday sugar and spice into this modern take on a classic cocktail.

Ingredients

Combine all ingredients in a stirring glass over ice. Stir to combine and chill, at least 15-20 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with a brandied cocktail cherry.

Amaro Sour with Pappy Van Winkle

Maple Amaro Sour

Amaro Averna liquor is a popular Italian bitter digestif that balances the sweetening agents of the cherries and maple syrup, along with the lemon juice for a touch of sour. Together, the elements are well-balanced, refreshing and frothy on the tongue thanks to our egg whites shaken vigorously.

Ingredients

Instructions:

  1. Combine ingredients in a shaker and dry shake without ice for 10 seconds. This should create a frothy foam texture. Add ice to the shaker, shake to chill, then strain into a rocks or old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a cherry.

Hibiscus Honeycomb Simple Syrup
When Summer Meets Fall

Despite the approach of the holiday season, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s cold (yet) across the South. For those in warmer climes that are finally enjoying a little chill in the air, Rhonda Cammon of Perfectly Cordial has the drink for you:
“I call it where summer meets fall. You drink it right at dusk when the sun is right on the horizon and there’s a really nice breeze. You get tartness from hibiscus but sweetness, the ginger beer brings spiciness and accentuates the palate, and glides across the palate.”

Ingredients

 Instructions

  1. Fill a rocks or highball glass with ice. Add rum or tequila (if using) and Hibiscus Honeycomb Syrup.
  2. Top with ginger beer and a squeeze of lime. Stir to combine.
Bonus, this beverage doesn’t require booze to be delicious!
