AR’s® Bourbon Barrel Aged Hot-Hot Southern Honey
Produced in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, AR’s Bourbon Barrel Aged Hot-Hot Southern Honey is all-natural and non-ultrafiltered. It begins with a blend of sweet clover, wildflower honeys, and extra-spicy habanero peppers. Then it spends three months aging in charred white oak bourbon barrels. The final product imbues AR’s hallmark sweet and hot honey with notes of bourbon, caramel, chocolate, and vanilla.
This raw, 100% pure honey is sourced from Appalachian hives and includes real habanero peppers. Newport News-based Ironclad Distillery supplies seasoned bourbon barrels for the aging process. All of AR’s hot honeys are free of artificial sugar, additives, preservatives, vinegar, or extracts and are gluten-free and paleo-friendly.
