Ingredients
- 1 cup Gesus Palomino Candied Jalapeño Marinade & Cocktail Mix
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 pound raw jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
- ½ red onion, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced and seeds removed
- ½ cup chopped fresh dill
Directions
In a large pot over high heat, add Gesus Palomino Candied Jalapeño Marinade & Cocktail Mix, white vinegar, and salt and bring to a boil. Add shrimp and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until shrimp is pink. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
In a large bowl or jar, add cooked shrimp, red onion, lemon, and chopped dill. Pour warm pickling liquid over the top and refrigerate for 24 hours. Serve chilled.
