The Local Palate Marketplace Attends Traveller Food Festival

We are pleased to announce that our recent participation in the Traveller Food Festival, hosted by National Geographic and sponsored by Travel South in London, England, was a tremendous success. The Local Palate Marketplace had the distinct opportunity to introduce and share our passion for Southern foods with an international audience, proving that our unique flavors are cherished globally.

The event served as a dynamic platform, allowing us to engage with renowned chefs, influential journalists, and fellow business proprietors from the US and UK. These interactions fostered productive dialogues aimed at advancing our shared goal: to promote and expand the reach of Southern culinary delights.

Throughout the festival, we connected with over 6,000 esteemed guests, sharing samples of our Marketplace products at an impressive pace. The array of delicacies included Food for the Southern Soul's Benne Wafers and Praline Pecans, Ella’s Snickerdoodle Popcorn, Georgia Grinders' Nut Butters, a rich assortment of spices from Olde Virden’s and Bourbon Barrel Foods, and teas from Oliver Pluff & Co. Our selection also featured cocktail essentials from Storied Goods, Jack Rudy Cocktail Co., and Sweet’s Elderberry, Mississippi Rice from Two Brooks Farm, Altman Farms' Southern heirloom cornbread mix, and Haand's exquisite tableware.

The reception of the products by the attendees further underscored our belief that Southern food has a global appeal and reinforced our commitment to continuing to introduce these unique flavors to the world.

As we reflect on the success of this recent venture, we look forward to future opportunities to share the authentic taste of the South with the world. We extend our heartfelt thanks to National Geographic, Travel South, and all those who attended the Traveller Food Festival, making it a truly memorable experience. Our journey in promoting Southern foods continues, as we strive to bring more of these distinct flavors to your doorstep.

Cheers,
