5 Tips for Easter Tablescaping

Easter Tablescape

Hosting Easter brunch this year? Find our top tips for creating an alluring yet functional tablescape for the holiday below.

  1. Bottom line: Skip anything that feels too thematic. Don’t go overboard with eggs or bunnies, rather let the food and vessels for your dining be beautiful and eclectic as they are.
  2. Start with high quality yet durable dishware. These Skali plates from Haand are earthy and rustic with a rigid lining and matte center that really make your plating pop.

  3. Accent with a Little Color: If you’re serving French toast with a little jam (we’d recommend this black raspberry jam) or wanting to offer garnishes for bloody marys (think: smokin’ pickled okra), serve in a small fern ramekin by Haand for a touch of personality on the table setting.

  4. Go Herbal. While most opt for a coffee bar at Easter, lean into tea with a few offerings from Oliver Pluff & Co. We’re partial to their Raspberry Sun Tea, Cacao Chai, and Cinnamon Orange Spice tea tins, but any of their options work for larger crowds. Serve alongside Storied Goods’ sugar cubes for a thoughtful and delectable pairing. Unsure what recipes to pair with tea, read through our recent article for our favorite Southern recipes for High Tea.

  5. Don’t be Afraid to Serve from a Skillet. If your pots and pans are beautiful vessels on their own, consider serving your brunch directly from the pan to reduce dishwashing time and keep everything on the table feeling fresh. We often opt to use our Blanc Creatives Roaster as servingware because it cradles all the flavors perfectly from stovetop to tabletop.
