The Local Palate Marketplace is thrilled to welcome two new vendors just in time for the height of Spring: Everling Coastal Farm and Marble and Steel Chocolates.
Everling Coastal Farm launched in 2016 by John and Debbie Everling seeking to provide their Virginia community with farm-fresh microgreens to surrounding restaurants. With incredible reception and growth, they’ve expanded to serve some of the top restaurants in Virginia Beach and Norfolk. Wanting to expand their offerings, the Everlings sought to begin pressing their own pecan oil with a traditional cold-pressed method. They’ve since added pumpkin and sunflower oils, and branched into importing some of the finest cold-pressed balsamic vinegars. Their oils are made with the highest quality processes and promote more health benefits.
Marble & Steel Chocolates was founded by husband and wife team Molly and John Cook in 2021 and is dedicated to crafting handmade chocolate bonbons, bars, and specialty chocolates just outside of Asheville, North Carolina. After they both spent much of their careers in the culinary realm, they decided to bring their passions for chocolate to Asheville. Each bon bon is made in small batches, meticulously painted, air brushed, and packaged for a truly unique chocolate experience.
