At The Local Palate, we love settling in with a good cookbook—from the look and feel of the cover to the mouth-watering photography to exploring new recipes and stories, we celebrate them for what they are: usable works of art. We’ve been covering the South’s best cookbooks for as long as we’ve been making magazines, which means we’ve been testing and sharing cookbook recipes and getting to know the authors and chefs who make them for more than 13 years.
