My Top 3 Tips for Meaningful Gifting:
Think Outside the Box: Yes, I’m talking about packaging here. Rather than wrapping your item in paper or stuffing it in a bag, consider thrifting a basket from your local thrift store. You’ll reduce waste, and have an additional item that can be cherished as part of the gift. Additionally, many thrift shops will donate proceeds to programs that have direct benefits to your local community.
Shop Regional, Shop Local: Shopping small is something we’re often reminded to do, but aren’t faced with the realities of what this means to artisans and makers who receive direct proceeds from the products.
