The color and flavor of honey are determined by the nectar sources the honeybees foraged to make it, and the honey will vary throughout the year depending on what's in bloom.

    Apis Mercantile Bourbon Barrel-Aged Wildflower Honey

    Apis soaks their Southern Wildflower Honey in charred White American Oak barrels still wet with bourbon for three months to allow maximum absorption. When the honey is leaking out of the barrel, all the bourbon has been absorbed, and the honey is ready for jarring.
